Dear Family (because you have all become family now!)

Robert was reevaluated by the doctor this past week. His cancer is very active in the liver and that is why he has so much pain. So far, the treatment has not slowed the progress. However, the doctor does feel that he should stay with the treatment he is currently receiving. He has only been on this a short time and it really has not had much of a chance to work.

Dear Friends

Just a quick note to tell you all that Robert is taking another small
break from chemotherapy. The doctor was really surprised that Robert
has been in so much pain. But, the last 8 days before his
appointment were some of the most painful that he has had. In fact,
he was so sick, that we both felt the end was near. Many of you have
been praying very hard and without ceasing and those prayers are
being answered. God is so very good.
