Twenty-one

I can hardly believe it! Granddaddy and I have been married 21 years today. It seems only yesterday, this tall good-looking real estate agent knocked on my door to show me a few houses.

It was love at first sight and the sparks are still there today.

I didn’t listen! I married this fantastic guy exactly 5 weeks later.

We promised God in front of about 100 witnesses that we would love each other. Even our very short honeymoon was devoted to wondering out loud to God about all that He would have us to do.

Bro. Leroy Meyer married us. He spoke directly to Robert during the ceremony and made a HUGE impression on him. As we left the church, he was already asking how he could live up to all that our pastor had challenged him with.

Well, he met the challenge. And he has kept every promise that was made that day.

I love you, Robert. And thank you for knowing that it’s all about Jesus.

P.S. I’ll post a picture later. –>
