We

Dear Friends,

Each and everyday I thank the Lord for you. The last few months have been filled with blessing from above because you have prayed for us.

It has been 11 months since he was diagnosed with Metastatic Colon Cancer. He was literally given a death sentence. But, we knew that God was in control and were ready for whatever He had in store. But, the doctors were not hopeful and only promised to make the months easier; never did they promise to cure.

Well, today he is not cured, but the outlook is not as bleak as then. Never did anyone think he would respond to treatment in the way that he has. It has truly been remarkable. And we know that it is only by the grace of God that we are able to say that.

God has been very good. He has brought us so much closer to our friends. We love each of you so much and know that God has truly blessed you, also, in this time. He has answered your prayers and we are so very grateful.

Tomorrow, Robert will visit with Dr Jenkins and discuss taking at least a couple of months off from chemo. We are so glad to be able to face the holidays and he can taste food!!! The last couple of weeks have been fun because he could actually TASTE. He plans to really enjoy the holidays!

Thank you again so very much for all the prayers and all the cards. Please, do not stop praying. We know that he is not cured and that he is now fighting a chronic illness. It will still be quite a journey, but we are glad that it is one we are taking with the Lord.

May God richly bless each and every one of you.

HOME

Since our own home invasion a few months ago, we have read with great interest about home invasions all over the place.

This story is one that had Grandpa ROTFLHBO*

My sister-in-law read it and had this to say:

“This was too funny not to pass on. Especially in light of ya’lls own experience. I wonder if you can make a burglar clean up his blood after you shoot him?”

Happy

Glenn and Sally

Happy Birthday, Sally. I hope you have a great day today with your family.

The best friend anyone could ever hope for! I only wish I could be half the friend that this lady is. Her family is so fortunate to have her as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother (did I miss anything?)…oh, mother-in-law!

One thing she knows for sure….It’s all about you, Jesus!! –>
