Cousin Camp Plans

That's right, to have a successful camp, one must plan. If you would like to read about one great year we had, check out the Cousin Camp 2002 Report.

We will have our grandchildren a little earlier this year. I have scheduling problems at work, so it pretty much drives the calendar for camp this go-round. Regardless of when it is held, we always have FUN!

We have been making stepping stones with their handprints. Last year, we made stones for the newest ones to attend. This year, we have no new grandkids coming to camp, so we'll just "print" the dogs!! Granddaddy needs to pour a new concrete pad for the fridge under the carport. I'm sure the kids will have to imprint it with their hands!!

I have been saving magazines and coffee cans. We're going to decoupage. They can decorate their cans to fint their personality. First, I will spray paint the coffee cans. Then, they can decorate to their heart's content. They love getting their hands into the glue!

We will play croquet and swing. We will spend time in the wading pool to cool off and fulfill the "No Bath" rule.

I don't have near enough planned. I need to quit writing html and start putting the pen to paper!

Let's see .. I have to get hotdogs and buns, make hamburger patties and get more buns! I need chips and chips and koolaid .. and LOTS of chocolate!! I need sun screen and mosquito repellant.

Well, that's the plan ... or at least the start of it.
